Nova Holland is a gorgeous woman who the Stranger first encounters in the Summerland Dream before then realising that he has dreamt her before knowing she existed. Unfortunately he shortly after discovers that she has apparently been murdered. It is this extremely serious crime which has brought the Sherriff all the way from Crayfish Creek to the Manatee Mountain area to investigate.
